Trip Title:
Bushcraft and Canoe Expedition
Highlights:
Spectacular floatplane ride; remote and peaceful pristine wilderness; expert bushcraft workshops; learning the art of wilderness canoe travel; salmon spawning grounds; rainforest trails and spectacular waterfalls
Overview:
Our Bushcraft and Canoe Expedition will be on a remote chain of lakes deep in the Coast Mountain Range of British Columbia, accessed by floatplane. During this time our guests will have fun exploring and learning a range of bushcraft skills and canoe techniques under expert instruction.
The expedition will begin with a journey by boat plane to a chain of lakes set high in the Coastal Mountains. The snow-capped, glaciated peaks and granite faces of the Coastal Mountains dominate the Pacific coast, some of the highest and least explored in North America. You will paddle the lakes for 6 days by open canoe with an experienced and qualified canoe coach.
Trip Review:
""This trip is really different. It takes you to places you would never see on your own, teaches you another way of life, shows you fantastic wildlife and gives an insight into First Nation peoples. An educational, inspirational, spiritual and physical experience." Chris Halek, 2007 "
